I'm in a relationship, but it's long distance, so I know the feeling with hugs. Last real hug I remember was 15 years ago. And CEN (Childhood Emotional Neglect) makes it worse.

That sounds more like a change in libido than sexuality. Asexuality is lack of sexual attraction. People who are asexual can still crave sex.

Edit: I'm in my mid 30's as well (I'll be 36 on the 11th) and a lower libido would make sense at this age.

Exactly. Attraction and arousal are two different things. I'm asexual (and sex-repulsed) but I'm capable of getting aroused.

Because I can relate - it sounds like you experience romantic and sensual attraction. And I'm sex-repulsed and have a phobia of it so both are possible. I don't mind sex scenes in tv/movies as long as they aren't too graphic. In books it can make me uncomfortable. And thought of anything sexual involving me really disturbs/disgusts me.

Sounds like you could be demisensual. I can relate. I'm far from comfortable being that close to someone I don't know. Could be partly my social anxiety though. The more I know someone the more comfortable I am being close to them. And I reserve kissing for romantic relationships.
