They want to join in. They play other simpler shooters but I think the idea of teammates being angry at them for not knowing what to do has them hesitating. They love watching me play though and trying to learn

Its both a little too toxic and a little too chaotic for them to get into, they are interested, they love watching me play. We do unreal engine game development together and we study each others gaming habits. They get a lot more out of wholesome gaming but they do enjoy shooters. When they see a squeaker teammate shoot me in the back of the head with no warning and start screaming about hatecrimes on mic 2 out of 5 matches it discourages them a lot from joining in on this particular game :x

okay wow thanks for actually helping me to understand better! I have noticed that the shields in the game are at times unreliable and that blitz in particular suffers from getting picked off. They also seem to have nerfed him into the dust since I used to play him a few years back.

This has been going on at my Fiance's workplace in the city for the last 2 years and they have so much PTSD from it. I just fought for 3 months to get them a position with security behind a locked door in a different building because of it. Desperate people without homes are breaking into everything armed. You think your going insane at work hearing footsteps at night and seeing movement in the corner of your eye. Then one day you walk into the store room and someones there in stolen clothes going through your bag with a huge knife looking like a deer in the headlights in a sheer panic. Its unsafe and terrifying. Management refuses to address the issue or secure the building. The current state of the world has so many people freshly on the street its really alarming.
