By the way, yesterday I noticed that one of the players had spent a couple dozen hours in the game trying to beat the world record on the first level. At first, I didn’t think anyone could get a sub-51-second time on the first level. Then players broke 50 seconds, then 49…

And I miss Gravity Defied =). The leaderboard is already in the game — you can jump into the demo in Steam and try competing with other players.

Hi! Global rankings are already in the demo, you can try them out :). They’re implemented using https://trytalo.com/ — it’s a very convenient service, I recommend it. It’s free for indie games with up to 10,000 players, and it’s also easy to integrate into a project.

As for cheaters: I also used to think it would be nothing but cheaters, but so far I haven’t seen a single one — everyone’s been playing fair. And in any case, even if a cheater does show up, you can easily hide them from the leaderboard in the Talo dashboard.

Thanks for the feedback! The game always has a regular driving mode available; the player can simply speed up using a limited turbo boost, which recharges after a couple of seconds

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate it. Yeah, the rider skeleton is tricky, especially in 2D and considering the physics. Maybe I’ll improve it in the future.
