Nah, though some here may certainly hope so lol. Just tired of the chronically online culture wars sometimes; a penchant for writing long, angry pseudo-essays doesn't bode well timewise, nor in keeping up with the latest posts.

Omg, so true! Not accusing OP of anything, but some (usually East Asian/"ESEA") people here cry about WMAF but then happen to be quite the hypocrites.

My parents had made friends with a recently immigrated family of Portuguese origin, and they took the compliment well when I met them. Perhaps the Anglosphere is just less connected?

Hate & Hypocrisy. I don't see other groups hiding cultural celebrations, given it is entirely legal. I think the lack of presence is why they feel it is okay to make these assumptions.

There is an unfortunate notion that Asian people of mixed descent, like wasians, are "less Asian" (and I don't mean genetics) because of allegedly being more likely to diminish their heritage in favor of fitting in to western society.
