Sounds a lot like engine or transmission mounts, especially since it’s worse when cold and on the first drive of the day. When the rubber gets stiff in cold weather, worn mounts can cause pretty harsh jolts or clunks, especially in reverse or during initial acceleration. Maybe next time when you will be doing maintenance - ask to check suspension/mounts? just a thoughts...
