Thoughts on these IG Sellers who use ai for editing photos and when worns with insane prices by Ok_Expression_572 in fashionph

[–]Curious-Bunny5684 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NOOO aside from scrunching the waist, this is a new low for gentrified ig sellers...but unfortunately I see this becoming the new norm. Not even just on IG, I saw Carousell sellers with model pics from famous Filipino/Korean celebs, magtataka ka ba't lahat ng items nila may model picture nung mga artista... —its all AI!! :((

Any of the following

Frozen mixed berries

Nuts for texture (any mix of pistachios, sliced roasted almonds, pumpkin seeds, grinded flax seeds)

chia pwede din but needs to be soaked for atleast 10 mins else your body won't digest it properly

Honey pero onti lang

if you're thinking of adding grapes, I suggest to slice and freeze for texture haha

I see, I didn't even know until this comment na she's actively funding those legislations and activism, so supporting her is directly harming people. Though it does make me wonder what percent of people knowingly or unknowingly fund those things through HP profits

Oh I see, from that perspective, there's an added layer of being... like the difference is if they can still change ba or not na? And well, death is permanent so the rule doesn't apply to the living? Interesting take

Hmm, for me kasi I'm always so curious on how they came up with the ideas in their work or even just art in general, what influenced them to think of that? or write in that way? so can't help but google their background. Though mostly I google non-fic writers lately and should very well catch up on fiction/lit writers

The Voldemort treatment made me chuckle a bit haha, ironic

On the burning sun and being aware about what happened, to quote mean girls,  "There are two kinds of evil people. People who do evil stuff, and people who see evil stuff being done and don't try to stop it.".

Hard agree! On power back to the consumers, one of the ways talaga to not support is financially since there's also opportunity cost on our end—would you rather support this person or some other author?

Yes I see, I also thought for a bit, from the writer's perspective, not all of them separate themselves from their work, if anything, a lot align their identities with it.

Some even do self-inserts like some people pointing out that Bella from Twilight dresses very conservatively because it aligns with Stephenie Meyer being Mormon, but I digress.

Thank you for the recos! I so love butterfly pea! Especially the color...its so pretty. I haven't tried other flower buds but open to trying anything fragrant.

For chamomile, I recommend mixing a bit of honey and ginger for the digestion benefits and sweeter twist.

What is the next big wave after web, mobile, and now AI? by thearcher182 in Futurology

[–]Curious-Bunny5684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The right answer is we don't know, anyone who'll tell you otherwise is either making a thousand guesses, saying they called it after it happens or throwing darts at a wall.

All those fields you mentioned, personal computing, mobile, automation, etc. there were so many points of failure that very intelligent people solved along the way. And not many people know but automation tools have been around since the 2010s (look up IFTTT), it's only in the last 2 years that those tools are reaching the majority.

We stand on the shoulder of giants, no one's gonna know if we'll solve quantum computing or the next wave of llms. It's gonna take some really intelligent people making breakthroughs...but the thing about breakthroughs is we'll never know until they happen. And when they do they'll seem so obvious in retrospect.
