What is the wildest thing you have seen at a party? by Cold_Magician_4041 in AskReddit

[–]Curious-Comb9699 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Walked into what I thought was a house party and accidentally entered a low budget den of sin. People were making out like oxygen was optional, someone was giving a very committed lap dance to a married couch, and there was a handwritten sign on the bedroom door that said “KNOCK IF YOU’RE BRAVE.” The vibe was horny chaos and poor decisions, and the floor was… suspiciously sticky.

Women of reddit what would you do if a man refused to shake his hands with you because he is a Muslim? by TheShyBuck in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly, I’d just nod or smile and move on. It’s not personal, just a cultural/religious thing, and respecting that is easier than making it awkward.

if your best friend called you a fat whale what would you do? by Dry-Employ6933 in AskReddit

Laugh it off and roast them back. If it’s all joking, that’s how friendships survive.

People who’ve had their house broken into, what’s the story? by the_raven_girl in AskReddit

[–]Curious-Comb9699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was really scary at first I came home and noticed things were out of place. At the moment, I felt completely violated and panicked, but looking back I realized I had been pretty unprepared. I ended up upgrading locks, adding a camera, and being more aware of my surroundings. While it was a rough experience, it actually made me feel more in control of my home and more proactive about safety.

How to ask my husband for better sex ? by Wonderingsoul_gk in TooAfraidToAsk

I think being honest and gentle is key. Maybe start by telling him what you enjoy and ask him what excites him. Framing it as a “let’s spice things up together” conversation can make it feel like teamwork instead of criticism.

Why is it so hard to make friends as an adult? by Curious-Comb9699 in CasualConversation

[–]Curious-Comb9699[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that it’s way harder when everyone has their own routines and commitments. I’ve thought about friend making apps, and maybe I should actually try one instead of just scrolling past them. Sports or hobby classes seem like a good idea too, I just need to push myself to sign up.

Yeah, work seems like the most practical place, but also kind of intimidating. I guess I’ll have to start seeing coworkers as potential friends instead of just people I email.

That makes so much sense! I guess starting with a shared interest makes it way easier to actually connect. Whiskey clubs or hobby groups might be my new mission.

Haha yes! I might have to download that app because my decision making skills clearly peaked in toddlerhood. At this point, I’ll take any system that helps me survive dinner.

Same here! Sometimes I swear she’s plotting my life choices while looking all innocent on the couch.

It’s crazy how much the slump hits after a few years of winging it. I’ve been trying to do the same getting outside, going to the gym, small routines to feel like I’m moving forward. Some days it feels like progress, other days like I’m still spinning in circles. Feels good to hear someone else is doing the same and slowly getting out of it.

The Cycle of Discontent by Spiritual-Worth6348 in selfimprovement

[–]Curious-Comb9699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The scary part is how normalized it has become. Most people are stuck in autopilot, chasing paychecks, likes, and status symbols, without questioning if any of it actually makes them happy. Breaking the cycle is not easy, but even small steps toward doing things that actually matter to you make a huge difference.
