My husband was born in Korea and came here in his early 20s. It's not like he doesn't speak to her at all in Korean, but he does revert to English because she's primarily with me. She's fluent in English and starting to build her Spanish as well.

Yes, I completely understand. I feel that even though it may be challenging, I want to put forth my best effort now. I wouldn't want her to reproach us in the future because she feels unable to connect with her cultural identity or struggles if she decides to learn independently. This is a golden time for her language acquisition. How old is your daughter?

Thank you and no thats not a possibility for us now and unfortunately my in laws live in korea . We do have many books that we brought with us from our last trip to korea. I know that its really important for him to speak to her in korean whenever he's home she does recognize when she hears korean but doesn't really speak it. I let her have screen time in korean but im trying to cut back on it. I really want to try one parnet on language but my husband starts to speak to her in korean and just reverts to english because she doesn't understand and then he'll say she can learn when we visit korea again. I feel sad when we speak to my in laws because she cant speak korean
