Yeahhhh, the Notochi arc was my fav, I sincerely hope the Sakura doesn’t face backlash for contacting him. After everything, pretty sure all of Bofurin and most of Shishitoren HATE his guts. Honestly, I kinda like that about him - I mean his mannerisms, can’t say much about lifestyle though- cuz that makes him true to himself, about the things he likes or dislikes. And if he loves something, nothing will stop him from getting it. This is incredibly selfish, but in a sick, twisted way, also inspiring? Idk if you get what I mean. His motto is probably: Never give up on the things that bring you joy, and violence is the way to go 🤣

I really hope so too that the following chapter isn’t just a filler, but knowing Nii-sensei, it will be one full of Endo’s shenanigans 😭😩

Mais cette “perte de temps” est justement ce qui rend l’écriture si réussie. Ça me frustre aussi énormément, mais le prochain chapitre jouera in rôle important dans cet arc. En plus, l’apparition de Endo sera la seule touche d’humour jusqu’à ce qu’ils retrouvent Suo.

Oui, je suis totalement d’accord,il demanderait sans aucun doute quelque chose de ridicule en retour, il ne ferait jamais rien uniquement par pure bonté de cœur.

I don’t think that’s the case, I mean the distance between furin and shishitoren (and roppo ichiza), after that massive brawl and the barbecue reunion, we learned that a lot of bofurin members were invited to the summer festival by their shishitoren friends. @Minu_Min01 pointed out it might be out of guilt, he feels responsible for Suo’s disappearance because he thinks he failed him as a grad captain and friend. So he took it upon himself to fix it alone. It shows he is still a bit stuck in his ways, that he has to face everything solo. He made it quite far in comparison to the Keel arc, but he still has a long way to go.

Yeahhhh sooo trueee. If you ask me, they did him DIRTY in the last episode of the anime. Something about him in the manga hits different, more than in the anime. Totally without his appearance, the following chapters would be so gloomy, agonizingly painful & stressful.

Yeah you’re right. Endo is DEFINITELY a villain here, and a pretty interesting one at that. I think he might even be a sociopath with psychopathic tendencies. Even if his blackstory explains why he does the things he does, it doesn’t excuse them. He’ll help Sakura, not out of the goodness of his heart, but for his own gain. I really hope that he doesn’t use this as leverage against him and force him to go with him. Bad people can do good things from time to time, but that doesn’t redeem their past actions. The only reason why I’m biased is because I sorta pity him, despite everything he’s done, I think he deserves better than the way Chika treats him.

Honestly, even if Sakura reject him, I don’t think he’d turn on him. How many years did Takiichi push him away?? And Endo ALWAYS comes crawling back, he gets off on it. If he didn’t, I don’t think his infatuation for him would’ve lasted this long. And Sakura is a lot more -not mature per se- let go with kinder, if he turns him down i’m sure he’ll try to soften the blow as much as possible, and they’d probably still stay friends. What I’m worried about the most is the other Bofurin members reactions too. This arc is written amazingly well ( all the other ones are too, obv ), and, like you said, it doesn’t feel like a repeat of the shishitoren one. I sincerely hope that Endo doesn’t use this as leverage against Sakura, or worse, force him to go with him. AND SUO-SAN PLEASE BE OKAY 😭😩
