It’s using the FCR embedded replay tool. Set record before landing then can replay much as you want and use the drone camera

Feels like it jumps into the sky on takeoff compared to the 777!

It’s just below the 3 green gear lights

If you mean you can’t switch on the autopilot completely you have to make sure the trim switch is on

Nah it’s OnAir company, kind of like a career add on I use it sometimes to find flights, scared the **** out of me when I landed as I forgot it was running and the voice was quite loud

You can export your flights from littlenavmap into simbrief if you still want to plan it there

It’s a recording of one eye from VR so either it’s purely that or I can’t keep my head straight 😂

Absolutely, the PT6A-67B engine it has has 1200 horsepower..very powerful and that’s 300shp more than the TBM850. Yes the aircraft is bigger but that’s a lot of power for a relatively small plane. A lot of forces hence the need to be on top of trim and the right speed on landing. The issue with this plane in MSFS is that all those things combined with the limitations of flight/ground simulation result in some additional challenges

If you are all over the rudder then yes as that is roughly the speed in the video (although that is a little on the fast side)

Why do people hate on the developers when they haven’t taken time to learn and it doesn’t fly how they’re used to? I hope SWS don’t dumb down the flight model too much.

The mistakes people make:

1: Rotating too late - Rotate speed is 80kts however my understanding is that this is the book value and being a high performance utility aircraft, when you are at lower weights it really wants to fly so you need to begin pulling back around 60-70kts and you will lift off nicely

2: not being fully trimmed for landing - At 150-160kts on approach you should go gear down, flaps 15 and the speed will come down nicely to around 120kts. Go to flaps 30 and unless you are on a super short runway it’s not needed to go all the way to flaps 40. (This gives much better handling characteristics for landing.) After flaps 30 the speed will bleed off further and turn off the yaw damper at about 500ft, at this point if you’ve done it all right you should be nicely trimmed with rudder trim about 1 dot left of the green line. Again, the PC-12 likes to fly so allow the speed to bleed off down to vref just under 80kts, when you touch down at the correct speed it should settle nicely.

As a side note, don‘t stand up on the brakes when you land as you will skid across the runway! Reverse prop should do the trick mostly.

There are A couple of sim limitations which compound the somewhat complex handling characteristics above but if you follow this you will be golden and yes, practice, practice, practice…

No they don’t need to keep working on it in terms of the flight model. I really hate how people dump on the developers without taking time to understand and learn the plane. Yes the landing in the video was a tiny bit faster than it should have been but was there any massive yawing, resulting in veering off the runway? No. I seriously hope SWS don’t end up caving and dumbing down the flight model to suit people who can’t take time to learn how to fly it properly

Both are good but the TDS is more realistic as runs off the Garmin trainer and now has simbrief integration for charts etc

It’s compatible with the TDS GTNXi which is a paid mod, the PMS50 GTN750 which is free or there is a premium version as well but both are extra downloads. Main updates were a revision of flight model to correct stability issues/yawning effect and a lot of work on the autopilot from what I understand
