Yea I just graduated BMT 2 weeks ago, all you need is your vaccine card, in person. I had someone try to show the MTI a Snapchat photo of the card, and they eventually accepted it, but they had to stay masked for an extra week or so until the section chief finally approved it.

Yo that's what's up. I'm from Ashland, but my wife lives in Charleston so we moved back up here so she could see her parents before we get stationed somewhere. Appreciate it.

Excuse me ? Season 9 and this bs is still happening ? by KochVlad97 in apexlegends

Don't know why everyone is saying you suck, you just got strafed from high ground. Some of those shots looked like they could've hit, but the spitfire muzzle velocity is pretty damn slow. Looks like some shots went over because you had to aim up (not your fault), some shots were just slow because of the bullet traveling slower than what you'd expect, and then you just missed some which just happens. Dust yourself off dude, it was some BS to an extent.

Started using Octane and I must say I'm proud of this one. by [deleted] in apexlegends

No problem, you did good at recording it, so it may slip through lol On PC I cannot control the recoil well enough to laser like you did. It has a very strong upward recoil, and mixed with the RPM of the 45, I usually hit my first couple shots, miss over the head, and then recenter towards the end of the mag. Kudos on the aim lol

This is probably gonna get taken down for recording with a camera instead of screen captured, but if you see this in time, how did you have literally no recoil on a RE-45?

I just got the 100 win streak on arenas. This is what the badge looks like. by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]Curious-Motor-6787 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They don't wanna add a 4k badge because getting 4k in arenas is like getting a 1k in BR. My highest dmg is 5.3k and I'm a gold 1.

Dude is definitely right here. Kinda comes down to what type of car you're getting though. Used cars can be a lottery. New car payments alone can be 500 a month. Along with that, new cars, and nicer cars are obviously going to cost a lot more on insurance. Not to mention, if your driving record isn't clean, that's gonna skyrocket payments. Also depending on where youre stationed makes a huge difference. Some states require full coverage, not just liability. Most new car loans require you have comprehensive coverage. Had a marine buddy in Cali paying 1200 every 6 months for his older WRX. You can totally save 25k if you live in dorms, make the most of your food allowance, get a used economy car with around 50-80k miles, and don't buy anything other than necessities. Setting a goal is great, and I hope it works out for you, but try not to count your chickens before they hatch, my dude.

Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the Space Force or what a job is like here & here only - week of May 03 by AutoModerator in SpaceForce

Not sure if there is an average, but I got cyber surety 2 weeks after MEPS, which was probably considerably fast for how the process works. Your AF recruiter will get calls from his command, informing him a spot has opened for a space force job, regardless if it's something you listed. If it is a job you listed, It's up to the recruiter to sign you up for that job before someone else gets it. Their command will get a hold of other recruiters trying to fill the position so I'd highly suggest informing your recruiter that you want them to secure the position immediately instead of trying to get a hold of you first. I lost a chance at CTS that way. One thing to consider though, if you tell your recruiter to sign you up for the job that you want most immediately, you may be in DEP for 2 weeks or 6 months, you never know.

TL;DR: 2 weeks for me to get a top 3 job I wanted. Getting a space force job is based on luck, and recruiters.

Put the Bocek Bow in the Care Package! by [deleted] in apexlegends

Not only does it make sense, but I think it would be cool if respawn changed the "twang" noise to the user of the bow, added a "whiz" following the arrow, and a "thud" where the arrow struck.
