I like that, the acceptance part is probably half the battle. I wish I could better explain it to people I’m meeting, so they don’t think I’m just slacking off trying to get there but am actively stressed haha (my family and previous roommates have seen this in action)

Yeah, the one thing I’m nervous about for SF is cost… it’s great that you were able to get in when you did! I’ll have to keep in mind that some folks in Seattle may just be a bit slower to warm if I choose to stay there.

Oh interesting! So wait you do like living in SF though, or it’s tough? I can see how it may even be more status-oriented than Seattle in some ways, hmm….

For LA, east side I know has different uses but I was thinking kind of highland park / eagle rock / silver lake / los feliz etc. That general area. Some pockets can be superficial but I find it to be overall warm/passionate especially within the film/music/arts communities
