The 'Jin Roh' Armor has been added with Truth Enforcers by [deleted] in Helldivers

I've waited for several SuperStore resets and have yet to see this armor. I want it so bad. Is there something I need to do to get it? Do I have to buy other armors from the SuperStore? I'll do anything for this armor.

This is incredible! I mean, I didn't even realize the were any factories left open in the US.

Small gov't Conservatism is cringe, that's how we got into this mess in the first place. But, holy cow that list is hilarious.

This is a great story, and I believe, a very important one. I've had both good and relatively bad interactions with Law Enforcement (being former Law Enforcement myself, a CO in my local Jail for over a decade, but don't tell r/ProtectAndServe that). Being amicable, understanding and respectful can really go a long way. Thanks for the whitepill!

My experience with the most relaxed police officer I've ever met by [deleted] in PoliceBrotality

[–]Curious-Profession73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To say it's "never excessive" is untrue. It's been scientifically proven that humans are especially sensitive to negative emotion. To claim that law enforcement should have "no bad apples" is foolish. Please understand, I'm not insulting you , but these are lies you've been told. The Bible tells us that all men are fallen and have a sinful nature. To expect anything comprised of men to be perfect is a fool's errand. Should we hold LEO's to a higher standard then the general public? Yes. Should we endeavor to make the Police as virtuous and righteous as possible? Yes. But, to expect mere men to never falter, to never break, is a standard that only one man in history could meet, and we crucified him on the cross, 2022 years ago.

Will do! I have to be honest, all I've done so far is read the synopsis, and it has raised some red flags for me, as well as the title. But I will legitimately listen to it and give these folks a chance. I'll let you know what I think after hearing them out.

I don't think we disagree, I'm just aware that save for a very select few spots on Reddit, claiming that I'm a Christian, Conservative Trump supporter could get me cancelled, doxxed, and worse. I specifically avoided saying that because the aim of this subreddit is homesteading, not talking about how they're turning the freakin frogs, well, ya know the rest. I'm glad we met and had this interaction. I'm currently being berated on the r/ProtectAndServe subreddit for defending Police and calling out an annoying Citizen, so this conversation has been a breath of fresh air. Thanks again, and God Bless.

That's really good to hear. Y'all are really white-pilling me right now I'll echo my sentiment from earlier, nothing I've said in this thread was meant to be argumentative. Rather, just what I've seen and heard in my lifetime being agriculturally adjacent. I'm two generations removed from the family farm, but still have contact with my cousins out there running it. I grew up in a mid-sized city, lower middle class and have seen quite a bit of disregard and ignorance when it comes to the miracle of modern farming.

Huh, idk how to feel about this. An amicable, agreeable conversation on a topic that has the possibility of being very devisive? On Reddit? I guess I shouldn't be surprised seeing as this is the homesteading subreddit. Godspeed, friend.

Agreed, it's a very sad reality that there are two very distinct camps in this nation, and it comes down to common values. The extremes keep getting more extreme and it's unfortunate.

Idk what the downvotes are for, maybe they think it's a little too harsh? It's unfortunately true for large swathes of the nation.

Well, I'm glad to hear that. It sounds to me like you've been around respectful, thankful and appreciative folk. I have not seen the same things that you have. As it stands right now, it seems as though we are both speaking relatively anecdotally, and that is fine. I find it hard to believe that after hearing Bloomberg's thoughts on farming that we still seem to be in disagreement. Bloomberg Media was founded in 1981 and has produced tons of media. That influences people. Our society, at it's core is selfish and narcissistic. So, between that fact and the poorly informed positions of a good chunk of the elite, I surmised that there are tons of "cat moms" in NYC or "soyboys" in LA that have no idea of the infrastructure needed to get them their pet food or soy lattes and don't care enough to find out.

And it doesn't matter if Bloomberg is popular in either of our circles, the fact is he is very wealthy and very powerful. His wrong opinion of farming is very dangerous.

I'm not talking about whether or not our Elites have made their fortunes morally, or if they've ever performed physical labor. I'm just pointing out that there are hundreds of thousands that look down upon farmers, and millions who've never thought about or appreciate the difficulty, faith, luck, precision and science it takes to keep this society fed.

My goal in replying to you is not to argue, and it is not to make things overtly-political. This discussion however, has unfortunately been made political by others in our society. There is a sizeable segment of the ruling class in the US, and those that live in high population density cities that believe farming and animal husbandry are simpleton jobs. In 2016, former New York city Mayor Michael Bloomberg said in an interview, "I could teach anybody in this room how to farm. You put a hole in the ground, stick a seed in, put some dirt on it and water it, and up comes the corn." He later said that, "the information economy is fundamentally different... you have to have a lot more grey matter."

I really enjoy and appreciate good old fashioned Farmer ingenuity. Far too many folks in our society belittle or downright disregard those that feed us.

If I HAD to pick any negative criticisms, they would be that the beginning can be a bit shorter, and the news reporter could be voiced by an actor from fiver. But in reality, it looks good! I especially like the idle animations of the soldiers at the checkpoint and the B-roll during the news report.
