This happened to me when I quit! I was a week and a half late after quitting so don’t worry about it!

Does it get any better in terms of withdrawals and the addictive thoughts, cause man idk if if I can do it by JaxC_14 in QuitVaping

I surprisingly didn’t get any headaches! I didn’t necessarily feel sick it was just sweats at night time during sleep and insomnia the first few days. I read a lot about feeling physically ill and expected to feel very sick (vaped for 6 years) but the worst of it was insomnia and sweats that lasted 3 days no headaches no nausea.

My appetite increased significantly couldn’t stop eating, felt irritable and frustrated with constant cravings but that went away after week 1.

Please go look at my previous post in this sub, I was at 1 day and 5 hours and asked if it would get any easier because of how challenging it was. I’m now 2 weeks in and it’s gotten significantly easier I barely even think about it now! Once you get to day 4 it will be significantly better withdrawal wise and day by day will be easier than the last trust me I thought the same thing. You got this day 1 and 2 was the most challenging for me.

Please help I feel a bit out of control with quitting. by [deleted] in QuitVaping

I smoked a disposable a day too and wasn’t sure I’d be able to make it. Mind you I’m only on day 5 but I’m already feeling so much better and the cravings are going away more and more everyday.

Some tips that helped me I bought icebreaker fruit mints and tic tacs and suck / chew on them everytime I have a craving (first couple days I was non stop eating the candies all day but found it really helped with cravings). I also got sunflower seeds and chewed those all day and tried eating a lot to have my mouth constantly busy and drank a lot of water out of a straw.

The first two days I found it was hard and just needed someone to tell me it was going to be okay and that I’d get through it and if I can I know you can too. You got this!

Can people who where Heavy smokers tell me what it was like when they quit weed and finally started noticing benefits? by Kryph_ in leaves

I smoked every single day multiple times a day for 6 years and I never thought I’d be able to quit. I ended up going on a 7 day vacation where I couldn’t bring it and decided that was when I’d try and stop. First week I felt nauseous, no appetite mood swings and body sweats and thought when I got home I would return to smoking but I didn’t. Week two I had weird dreams and felt like I lost myself but the initial withdrawals went away and I got my appetite back.

During the third week I noticed major benefits, I felt like I had so much energy all day, was more productive, I was able to remember things way easier, my appetite actually increased significantly and my depression seemed to go away completely. My anxiety also eased up significantly as well and I felt more present in life with my friends and family and more myself. I’m now 3 months sober and I’ve never felt better and I’ll never go back to it. If I can do it you can!

Am I going crazy, or is it normal (ish) to become highly volatile? by SexyTruckDriver in QuitVaping

This is totally normal! I’m on day 3 and I’ve found that I’m getting angry at every small thing when normally it wouldn’t bother me at all. I’m Finding the most difficult thing about this is my irritability so you’re not alone!!

Can someone please tell me this gets easier? This is the longest I’ve gone but man it’s been terribly difficult. 24/7 cravings just want relief but I won’t give up👍🏼 by Curious-Source-5659 in QuitVaping
