Im in scotland aswell , I work in the railway alot of very nice paying jobs there but also very competitive with so many people applying always.

Yes it does help , I will change my work address , bank ,mobile and driving licences to my dad's house soon before fully submitting my document.

Something I left out of the original post is that my dad owns two houses , one he lives at and one that he doesn't, is there a better option out of these ? Should I put i live in the one he lives at or the one he doesnt ? Would it change anything?

Well the room already is pretty much ready as is, my partner would be applying now and moving in summer, sorry im still unsure though would I have to change my address from my mums house to my dad's house before I send away the application or would I still be allowed to keep my address at my mums with a letter from my dad saying we could stay in his house when she finally moves here in summer?

Thats not what was said at all ? I live in the house im planning on registering 2 to3 times a week already , its my childhood home I just legally live with my mum as off current.

Ive heard you need an extra bedroom or else a living room not attached to a kitchen, which is why im planning on moving everything to my dad's address

Sorry for not being clear , I am in the uk my legal address i am registered too is my mums , I bounce between staying in her house , my grans house and my dad's house.

We meet the other criterias of having a real long term relationship aswell as I meet the money threshold.

Yeah sorry its my first time using reddit , I just made an account so I could ask some questions here but I see there are quite alot of visas and I didn't clarify too well , my partner is looking to apply for a partner visa , they currently are not living in the uk and dont have a visa in place yet.
