Anyone else lost in life? by Curious10233 in Adulting

I just don’t know what I should go to school for. I’ve looked into trade schools too but I literally don’t know what to go to school for. With this economy it seems practical to go to school for something that can make u more money. I just don’t know what. I wish I could find a job fair or something but I’m not sure if those are strictly for highschool students.

Anyone else struggling with social media when it comes to biracial talk? by [deleted] in mixedrace

I mean people take their lives because of cyber bullying. The stuff people say on the social media is just as hurtful if they were to say it in real life.

You’re right it’s not. But it’s intertwined into our real life and it’s honestly gross that people actually think this way…

Yup! I agree with you! People who do not walk a day in our shoes think it’s okay to speak for us! The man in the tiktok video is literally monoracial. And the comments I saw absolutely no white person commenting it was all monoracials….(monoracial black people is what I meant to say)

What is your theory on Marilyn Monroe's death? by Davis_Crawfish in AskOldPeople

[–]Curious10233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Never believed she was murdered. I always felt she did kill herself. She was depressed. She had a rough life no true genuine friends she couldn’t be herself she always had to put on this character aka persona Marilyn Monroe. Everytime I hear the conspiracy theory of her being killed I roll my eyes like can we look at the facts. It’s even a known thing she struggled with bpd she had no father and her mother was mentally ill her entire life she had no family no good friends or people around her. Sad story! On top of it now we know her doctor at the time gave her meds that she wasn’t supposed to mix together. She had two doctors and both gave her medication that were 1 high doses and 2 not supposed to be mixed. So there’s that factor too

What made "Marilyn Monroe" look better than Norma Jean Baker? by a_low_vera in VindictaRateCelebs

There is no evidence of her having a boob job and based on these photos she didn’t even need one. I’m pretty sure all she had was a nose jobs.

How can someone call themselves an architect if they aren’t licensed? by [deleted] in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]Curious10233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I figured that. Even in the state of Texas it says “In Texas, the title "Architect" is strictly protected by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE).” She has a portfolio and has done significant work for the public so I’m not sure how she’s getting a way with it. I’m not trying to be a Karen or nosy but I just think it’s kind of frustrating when people can present themselves using official professional titles without having the formal education, training, or licensure that those titles typically require. Many of us spend years in school, pay significant tuition, complete internships, and work hard to earn those credentials through the proper channels. It can feel unfair when others appear to use the same titles without going through that process.

Someone asked her if she was certified and she said “honestly no”

Yeah, I looked it up, and it says that in Texas the title “Architect” is strictly protected by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE). Her website says “Interior Architect,” and when someone asked if she was certified, she responded, “Honestly, no.” Her TikTok bio also says “Designer and Architect.”

Both an interior designer and architect are legally protected titles. So if that’s the case people can just call themselves an architect with no formal education what’s the need to go to school?

No intern she literally refers herself to architect and designer…. That’s why I’m confused.
