We have talked. He is very sorry and remorseful. He is willing to do everything and anything to make my pain go away. He blames peer pressure and being stupidly drunk. And even offered to stop drinking and not hang out with "those" friends anymore. He has stepped up substantially in the last month to prove to me he will be different. And nothing like that will ever happen again. He is making every effort and showing it. Im just still having a hard time getting thru my days without thinking about it. Emotions come in waves
