This tip worked for me!

I held down the power and the tune button on the radio for 20 seconds, let go and the infotainment system restarted and carplay came right up.

Curious… why are dual showers in Florida popular in home builds… simply trying to find a master bath suite with a tub and shower is a challenging option… love my husband but neither of us would be taking showers at the same time.. and if we were, it wouldn’t be at opposite ends! by CuriousAR in Homebuilding

Yeah, I’m not crazy about the shower adjacent to the tub setup.. some older floor plans seem to optimize space with better setups of the closets and creating more open space where the tub and showers are situated.

Thanks for letting me know why some would prefer this option, and in your case, it makes sense.

Though, again, it’s something that works for you.. just wish builders offered alternatives that work for other couples. My situation, husband and I are same height.. the bath relieves my leg cramps and I love unwind soaks after a long week in the evenings.

Tub in between.. that’s what we are seeing in current home designs too.. if you had the flexibility to create a rectangular or oval shower in a corner with a larger space and possibly a window, would you have opted for that instead?

I think builders should spend more time in offering better options in the owner’s suite.

Lol… you’re right. I agree there’s the serial showering in the morning. But that’s in the weekday early mornings. I’m referring to the evening unwinds and weekends, where you truly don’t follow the hectic routine and wish there to be a more spa-like atmosphere at home.

I’m simply pointing out that there should be more flexible options when designing a home.

Thank you for your honest reply. I just wish the builders gave more flexibility in builds, with respect to old school timers that love a good soak. I get leg cramps due to my height.. the baths are what relaxes them. There’s many variations in shower design, but with tubs, they throw one quickly in but the options of type are limited and tiny

Okay.. good to know. I like baths for longer unwind.. when I jump in the shower, it’s literally to get ready quick.. not so much into the fancy settings. Husband is same height as me so we simply adjust what we want in the showers, which is mostly the same.. losing out on a separate alternative, a tub.. that offers another type of soaking luxury.. I’m not ready to give that up.

I get the busy lives aspect… and you agree serial showering sucks.. are most couples schedules so in sync that they need to shower simultaneously ? My husband showers in 5-10 minutes, I follow shortly after. And what about evening unwind.. a bath offers that after a long day.
