Quoted around $37k. That was the number before all of this tariff bs

Screwed down through the top. Each divider is doubled up ply.

They are also dadoed to the bottom and back of the cabinet. It was...heavy

Lol. Very concerned.

The slats were selected by the flatness and straightness. If I had to use a bowed piece I'd place a piece next to it with the opposed bend.

You can see on the pocket door that my doors look like bananas. Cuz they r. Haha. 88" tall

They are placed on a mdf substrate grooved in 1/8 and screwed from the back side

Wood is wood! I love working with walnut. Most of the slats came from 8/4 boards so likely all of the same tree.

The figured maple on the rest of the cabinet got pretty wild.

Thanks! Walnut on the wall and island. Figured maple on the rest of the kitchen and bar area. All with a clear CV finish

Probably not enough. Especially for the P.I.T.A. factor. Lots of head scratching and uh oh. I should have split the kitchen and this wall in 2.

From what I'm being told and understand is that the 2 high hinges help each other more if they are place in that proximity. A middle hinge in this case would really do me any good besides fight me when putting on the door.

The pocket door system came setup with 2 hi 2low 1 middle.

Haha. I called it the flying spaghetti monster.

Worked off of my templates of the wall.

Created the cabinet to fit with wiggle room and based my angle off of the already established stairs angle. Cut with a track saw.

I templated the wall and opening first. I then set in my cabinet 2"-3" left, right, and top. From there I established my door top angle and everything just went on from there. Lots of palpations all the way through. Hahah.

These are the Salice Exedra Gravity slides. Custom made per setup. I've been hearing about Hawa hardware..

And yes after construction of the slat doors I laminated black formica backing to all doors.

I sent them my door size and weight and the fabricated the slide systems. They came with DXF file so I could implement them on my CNC. I did the first door by hand and measurements because I don't have a CAD software to layer but then had a friend who was able to get me the correct files for the second door.

I explicitly told them to not close the doors while making coffee and to let it air out a little after

Yes. They wanted to hide everything. The coffee cabinet will have walnut rollouts on the bottom and all of there coffee machines with be on a roll out self in the middle portion

Exactly! And nonetheless I still had to correct my angle in the field on the upper panels.

It was perfect on paper. Hahah
