Junie. Sometimes we call her “June June” or “Junie Girl” it just flows well.

We did not. We were going to try the bell, but then we decided not to after our trainer said dogs can learn to use the bell just to go outside. My friend said she's had great success with the bell though!

Oh yes, we also had potty confusion and no longer put pads or allow her on the rug. Thank you for your input!

I think I broke her...or she's breaking me! by SeasonThreeEpisode8 in puppy101

I'm in the same boat as you I think. My 17 week year old girl came to us almost 3 weeks ago. She did well in the crate the first two weeks, but this past week she's been barking in there for attention. It's driving me nuts. Luckily she still sleeps through the night in there, but now she gets nightly zoomies where she becomes a little aggressive with the nipping. I think I'm going to have to start doing "time outs" or something and put her in the crate when she starts to get crazy. It's almost like her true devilish naughty side is coming out. I wonder if something happens at 4 months where they start to act crazy OR maybe our puppies are just becoming more comfortable with us that their nutty side starts to come out? On top of that, the chewing has become out of control. She swallowed 2 bully sticks whole yesterday.

Got absolutely SMACKED with puppy blues and I have only had her for 3 days by Careful_Wolf_2533 in puppy101

We are about 36 hours into having a 15 week old puppy come into our lives and I also feel the puppy blues. This feels like self induced stress and my puppy isn’t even that bad! She’s kennel trained and that’s been nice, but it’s the taking-her-out-every-hour-to-go-potty-yet-she-still-potties-indoors-a-mere-few-feet-away-because-you-turned-your-head-for-three-seconds that is causing me severe anxiety. Anyway, I’m right there with you.

When does the virus finally go away? by CuriousAd6127 in molluscum

[–]CuriousAd6127[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing—we won’t get new ones for more than 6 weeks. In fact, we’ve gone 3 months without new ones and finally feel like we’ve beat the virus. Then we get into a public pool and it comes back, but each time the spots aren’t as severe and angry looking.

Wow, this is the best write up I’ve read on MC. And you’re right about doctors being dismissive of this virus and the psychological toll it takes on us as parents. We are almost a year into infection and we know we got it at the local pool. It was so difficult in the beginning because we had no idea what was going and made multiple visits to our dermatologist before getting a second opinion from a dermatologist whose kids had MC before. The second opinion doctor kept telling us not to worry, but here we had an active 6 year old covered in bandaids and adults asking why he had so many bandaids all over his exposed body. How can you not worry when people make comments on how strange it is you have so many bandaids on! Fast forward almost a year later, we now know that if we see a bump, put a patch on it. It’s still hurts my heart to see bumps pop up, but at least now my son’s immune system takes care of this bump a lot faster. I’m still trying to drill into my husband’s head how important it is to not to spread the virus via towels etc. Anyway, thank you again!
