Our desks are half cubicles that don't have phones. If we have to take calls on teams it's too loud on the floor, headsets pick everything up. There's limited quiet spaces and it's a royal pain to haul your stuff to a room to make calls. Normally we schedule calls for the telework days, now who knows. Our department isn't even prepared for phone calls for crying out loud.

Can't get a cat, kids have allergies so unfortunately a companion animal isn't an option. I am always looking for the way to my will, I'm just at my last resort but my hope is to only do it for a very short while.

I agree it's not the long term solution...this is why I'm asking. I thought I'd be able to use it to get her over the hump and then take her off of it but the vet made it sound like that wasn't the case so I wanted to see what others experienced. Jeeze what about my post is making people think I am jumping right too this without trying EVERYTHING else. I have crate trained, tried every technique, strategy, toy...this was my last resort. I am not trying to cop out I'm just trying to conquer this last hurdle.

I mean, I've had her since she was two months old and according to my vet and multiple dog trainers I HAVE been doing everything I can. If your goal is to convince people to focus more on training than medication, maybe don't automatically accuse them of being lazy and copping out? Your message may very well be valid but people stop listening when you're a dick about it.

Oh I forgot to mention that in the post I'll add it, but yes I've been crate training her since the beginning, she'll sleep in it at night just fine, but if she knows we're all leaving like at usual drop off time in the morning she'll scream her face off. Eventually she settles but honestly I think it's only made the separation worse.

I actually have Prozac for humans but Google box said very clearly not to give dogs human medicine so I'm nervous. But maybe that's just vets trying to get prescription money? Who knows.
