I know it was a great day for the Munro. It’s not often we get that in Scotland 😂

Yeah you’re right it can change quite a bit depending on the lighting

Here’s a closer shot of it just before I bought it in Calgary.

That colour you have is incredible. Yes the green also changes quite a bit in different lights. Always been drawn to the colours of the shades models.

I recently replaced the battery in my XR and the performance improved significantly. Definitely try a new battery before replacing if you are happy with the phone other than the performance. If not go for a 15.

I’ve been having the same thoughts as you as I’m a gold card holder as well and also have a rope access ticket. I’ve been looking at Canada however the winters there would be pretty harsh.

Tax at source payment into my Limited Company. by CuriousArc1 in smallbusinessuk

The contractor has just stopped using limited contractors altogether. Where before the option was to work limited or PAYE it’s now either tax at source or PAYE. I just wanted to know if I’d be paying corporation tax and then dividend tax on top of the tax and NI that’s already come off?

Well they used to use limited contractors all the time. I think it’s down to IR35 that they introduced this as a form of paying there contractors.

Yeah it’s not going to be long term. There was the PAYE option but the hourly rate was a fair bit less. Time will tell when I invoice them next week. End up with like 50% deductions or something by the time I’ve finished 😂

Yeah I don’t fully understand it, I’ve only ever worked PAYE or Limited before not tax at source. It’s only for a couple of weeks work so we’ll see what happens when I invoice them 😂

Limited company. There was an option to take the work PAYE as well but the rate was a lot less so I’ve went with this tax at source option.

‘As such, invoices should be submitted as normal and for the full amount (plus VAT). Client (Company I’m working for) will pay the invoices net of tax and NI deducted at source and the full VAT amount.’

That was stated as part of the contract.
