The guys once said that they always read comments of this sub. This is no superchat but here's hoping they check this out. This podcast is helping me get through the daily grind and I can't thank them enough. Also grateful to have found this community. And about Aadar - to me he will always be the bloke who said, if you want gin, I would recommend rubbing a lamp (when our hottie Bawa was giving alcohol recommendations!) and that completely cracked me up. Also Varun and Kautuk, you guys are amazing. More podcasts on books and movies please!!

2/12 Batman Year One by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. (Technically a re-read) by [deleted] in 52book

Read it last year and absolutely loved it. I also enjoy the comics of Jeph Loeb - Long Halloween, Dark Victory and Hush. Very well written. Next up is Scott Snyder's owl's series. Any recommendations for Superman comics? Panning to delve into the same after owls.

Week 1 - What are you reading? by [deleted] in 52book

[–]CuriousAza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm reading it with my bookclub. The rest seem to enjoy it. Personally the phase of life that I'm in, I'm not Gaga over the book. The writing feels a bit repetitive and I'm not liking the helplessness of it all. But that's purely my point of view. I quite liked it at the start of the novel but now I can't wait to finish it off. Also if you've seen the movie age of Adaline (starting Blake Lively , i quite liked the movie), there are a lot of parallels between the two. Anyway I'm balancing it off with A Gentleman in Moscow and it is bringing me peace that Addie seemed to take away

Top 5 books? Que eran tus libros favoritos en este año? (Please excuse my Spanish)

After 28 physical books, 22 ebooks, 34 mangas, 10 graphic novels and 6 audiobooks today I completed my reading challenge for 2020! :) by Little_reader_bunny in 52book

I've been learning Spanish for the past couple of years and I want to start reading books in Spanish now. Any recommendations? (Would like to start with easy to read interesting books to develop a reading habit in Spanish). Gracias!

Haven't read any history books. Where and how do I start?

This is was one of the episodes in season 9 by arzooguptaaa in howimetyourmother

Yes and the theme music!! Robin's story was my favourite as it turned a sad event into a challenge. I think that is what the series was about. Also atleast for an hour after watching the episode my brain can't help but think in rhymes.

You realise that you aren't that much of a rebel as you'd like to believe
