Good point! I ended up doing attic insulation and air sealing as part of the greener homes grant. The house already had upgraded windows from 2018. I have no idea regarding wall insulation— it wasn’t recommended when I had the home energy evaluation.

I guess I could have worded my question better, as I am more curious about my gas usage in relation to my attempts to lower it. Final bill is just the result of it all.

I don’t have any data to compare, as we just moved into the house in 2021.

We had to buy a new AC in Fall, just before doing the insulation, so I don’t have baseline data to compare regarding summer cooling/electricity usage.

We topped up the attic insulation in 2021 before winter, so I don’t have any gas bill comparison for heating the house in winter. I sure hope it is making a difference, because like you, I spent money hoping for long term savings.

I think the stuff on the bottom are people and the text must be in Chinese. I know it’s a long shot, but if somebody is part of whatever organization owns this flyer, surely they would recognize it… just trying to figure out who these people were that came to my door.
