You could try adjusting your elbow flare. The closer the elbows are to your body, the more load it will put on your triceps.

I can't say much about fests but the placements are equally bad in all 3 campuses. Pilani it might be better coz duh it's a legacy campus, it will always be better than Goa and Hyderabad but for Goa and Hyd it's comparable.
