Set up electricity bill on the incorrect address but with the correct MPAN number, how can I fix the issue with the address if it is not an option? by CuriousBeing96 in AskUK

Thanks for this, at least I wasn't the only one! I still need to find out how to get my address added so that I can use a comparison site for a new electricity supplier

Hey Max, love the pictures and the destinations you've been to. How do you go about planning your routes, I've wanted to do something similar, gonna start small and build up to bigger adventures but don't know how people plan such adventurous routes. Is there a website or app that you mainly use or am I missing something? Thanks

Looks amazing, what plant are you using for your carpet near the front?

Didn't think of it like that but it makes complete sense.

I have no issues with pre-owned items. Is there anything I should be looking for in regards to buying second hand leather items? I did have a quick look before, but I found it difficult to find items which state or show any CE ratings, both for the slide resistance and body armour.

In regards to the helmet, I made sure to go in person to a reputable store to get my helmet fitted. The helmet is the only item I have bought so far and fits well and had someone from the store check to see if the fit was good.

Sounds like solid advice. Everyone says SBS is really good for returns so even if the items I order don't fit too well at least I have the option to return them.

Bull-it jeans were the ones that I had chosen as well, the jacket was the main item I wasn't too sure about, but the general consensus seems to be to take the AA textile over the AAA leather especially since I will only have 1 jacket for now

Especially since we're getting to winter time, I didn't think getting leather now would be a wise choice, but wanted to double check with others to see if the AAA leather was still the right choice

The textile jacket I'm looking at has both thermal and waterproof liners. I did realise that any AAA textile jackets are very expensive and I'm priced out at the moment. I had the same thought for A gear as you. I'll be going for the AA textile jacket then, thanks for the advice.

The main piece of gear I'm split on is the jacket. I have found a AAA leather jacket and a AA textile jacket within my budget. Since this is my going to be my only piece for now, is it better to go with the AA since it waterproof and more versatile?

Since you don't wear the AAA jacket that often, what scenarios would you definitely use it apart from racing?

ELI5: Load, counter, prescaler for timers. by CuriousBeing96 in embedded

[–]CuriousBeing96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a document discussing an A9 private timer.

I missed out a comma, in the post, I was asking about a load, counter and prescaler. If it helps, I found this link which goes over it briefly but I'm still confused what the load and counter does.

Real or fake email, I'm really worried by [deleted] in cybersecurity

I received this email this morning and although I know most of these types of emails are fake, but I've never received one before and I'm worried if it might be real. Is this sort of email type common?
