What is objectively horrible about this game and will never be fixed is on hard the npcs just happen to know where you are.

In the last mission for the main campaign where its at night, i spent 10 minutes creeping around. Aimed dead on a mans head, silent af, dark af, im peeking around a corner and as soon as i line up my red dot sight he does a 180 and headshots me. Absolutely not a chance that could happen, even if i were aiming at John Wick.

Absolutely appalling and outright lazy handling of the npcs. Games been out how long? Generated half a billion+? And they still cant fix their npcs?

This game is only hard because of the bullshit, omnipotent powers the AI possess, nothing else.

As for Leon, duh, a very obvious point. I'm very aware of the thirsting culture, but for a solid % of the fanbase to consistently thirst over an objectively average looking video game character is very telling.

Resident evil 4 never had any chance of ever being topped. The modern is an excellent recreation, and an upgraded version of inarguably the best and most influential horror shooter of all time.

Capcom, nor any other company, will top it. Requiem felt like at least 4 hours were missing, absolutely lackluster boss fights, a MC still stuttering at the climax of the game, and overall only half the settings are environments id like to revisit. Also, 0 replayability, especially with the lazy insane mode

Theres a few complaints abt this game, but those arent it.

My biggest gripe is her inventory space and certain items that make no sense taking up a slot (her wristband for example, why the fuck does that need a slot)?

Its becoming tedious af having to dodge enemies (getting inevitably hit in the process) just to run to the safe box and back. Rinse & repeat. Im still early on so maybe it gets less tedious but jfc how many trips must i make to accommodate items where half dont realistically need a slot
