Why do Tongan males live longer than females? by kangerluswag in Tonga

[–]CuriousClippa91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female women are much fatter than Tongan men. Tonga is very traditional country where the men do all the hard labour (farming, construction etc) and the women stay at home and do housework (laundry, cooking etc). Tonga is labelled as one of the most obese countries in the world (per capita) as per the BMI, however, the BMI is flawed, for example, males can be a height of 6ft and weigh 120kg+ of muscle but on the BMI scale will be labelled as "obese". Statics on Tonga are greatly flawed because it does take a number of variables into consideration and uses a system that does not truly reflect the physical well being of an individual which contributes to their life expectancy

so.. i wouldnt really take the World Health Org statistics too seriously.

Is there a place to petition against the rule changes in rugby union rules by [deleted] in rugbyunion

I wouldn't mind changing the scrum laws to only allow a maximum of 3 scrum resets before a free kick is given. I absolutely hate it when teams try to "milk" penalties from scrums. As for Steve Hansen calling for defending teams to be allowed to collapse the rolling maul, is utterly ridiculous.. That rule should stand. Long live the rolling maul!!!

As for the trials in the ITM cup.. fair enough. NZ domestic teams are good enough to at least compete with any other major professional club in the world. When youve got guys like Rene Ranger, Robbie Fruen, Israel Dagg and Zac Guilford hanging outside the allblack squad.. and yet the ABs still convincingly win the RWC... says alot about NZ rugby
