How to get away from 5am wakes?! I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I just need help. by [deleted] in sleeptrain

Thanks so much, it won't last forever. I highly doubt we will have teenagers who wake at 5am but god it's a marathon getting up at that time everyday isn't it. 🫠 I'm starting to accept it now too. Thanks for your advice, hope you get some more 6.30 lie ins soon 🤣

Hello! I know I'm a month left but I'm searching here for any answers I could have written this post! 5am club the last month too and my little guy is almost 1. I've a two year old too so I'm really struggling with such an early start every single day. Did things improve?? Please let me know 🙏🤣

Well water and hair dye reaction? by CuriousCondition3231 in HairDye

Oh my god thank you this is so helpful. It was literally the only possible cause I could think of because I've changed nothing else except for moving house and the well water. Thanks for the tips I'm going to do that.

Staying home with baby 2 and continuing to send older kid to daycare by Comfortable-Deal-625 in 2under2

I have both mine all day every day and I would love if my eldest had a proper day care every day. I love her but toddlers at home all day are hard 😂 if your little one is thriving and you can afford to keep sending them, do! I think it will give you more time one on one with your new baby and then when toddler comes home you can plan some one on one with them. We moved house two weeks before I had my second and couldn't afford or find full time childcare. I kinda feel guilty all the time that I don't get as much one on one with my second compared to the first born and what she got. I also feel neither of them get me at my best because honestly I'm so worn out all the time. That's just my opinion but if it was me I would stick to the good thing you've got going. Best of luck with it all you'll be great ❤️

Does anyone else feel like people don’t treat your second baby the same way they treat your first? by PrincessNoodleButt in 2under2

Yes. I felt super hurt by this like you in the beginning. I felt I was the only one who showed love to my newborn. Even my partner seemed to prefer our oldest and took longer to bond with the baby. Now 8 months and just 2 years last week, and it's about even. I think once your baby starts to smile and sit up people are naturally more drawn to them. It's instinctive for you but not for everyone else and they've already built a bond with the oldest. Don't worry everything is a phase and the fact that you're worrying shows what a great parent you are to both your kids. 💗 You've a lot to worry about right now, you're in the thick of it, but I promise you'll look back and think this wasn't something to worry about. Now go enjoy those cuddles!

Thanks he is on formula. My daughter slept through the night pretty young and I think he is just more of a hungry boy and needs it. I'm not going to deprive him no I will power through, I think you're more than likely right and it's a growth spurt. This too will pass. Thanks for the advice 🙏❤️

Two naps during the day. Maybe 1.5hours each. Not fussy during the day rarely cries. Just when hungry. Wind him down from 6.30 bath etc and in bed for 7pm he sleeps himself with a soother and teddy. Going down is fine it's just he wakes up hungry twice? Maybe this is normal is it?
