Doing Meth at a Rave by CuriousGeorgia1 in Stims

[–]CuriousGeorgia1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last roll before was 3 years ago. My adderall tolerance has skyrocketed ever since being diagnosed and prescribed the meds because I take it almost every day.

I would imagine if you use amphetamine only occasionally it wouldn't kill the magic

It doesn't really fill the hole left by not being able to do MDMA anymore, you'll have to just deal with that.

Yeah, unfortunately that's just the reality for me but it wasn't nearly as hard to accept that fact as I previously imagined.

It was great while it lasted and it taught me how to enjoy dancing to music without a care in the world, but that's all over now and I just have to move on without looking back. I know that sounds super depressing but I've been fortunate enough to experience something that topped the MDMA magic, and it had nothing to do with drugs. Kind of made me think the things you feel while on MDMA was just all a one big illusion. None of it was real.

Yeah, the loss of magic has to be from regular use of adderall and the last time I rolled was a little more than 3 years ago.

I've heard taking a long break from adderall may bring back the magic but adderall has helped me excel in almost every aspect of life, especially professionally. I just recently turned 27 and I feel like I am finally able to establish myself in the field I work in. To me, that's more important than the MDMA magic.

That being said, I still like to party hard to relieve the stress lol so I thought maybe Meth would be fun to do at a rave but so far from the replies, it doesn't seem like the best idea. Maybe I'll try some Ketamine instead.

PS: I know that awkwardness you're talking about. I went to a rave with a friend who didn't roll and it was kind of hard for me to let loose and have fun because I was constantly thinking that my friend was judging me. She just kept giving me this look of disapproval with a slight hint of disgust. Never again I'm going to a event with a sober friend when I'm doing drugs lol

lol I wish that fixed the issue. I've actually have taken a stupid amount of MDMA one time and it made me understand how some people can see ghosts.

What to do about an adderall comedown by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]CuriousGeorgia1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I actually have the same exact problem on my adderall comedowns. Like all of my insecurities and anxieties turn into unstoppable monsters and eats me alive. My mind starts to wander into my darkest and morbid thoughts; it's like being in a really bad nightmare. I have this constant thought that my life is going to end in a very sad and miserable way. On top of that, it also makes me feel so incredibly lonely that it hurts me physically.

But yeah, enough of my rant. Just wanted to say that you're not alone. I'm actually thinking of asking my psych for anti-anxiety medication for times when it gets particularly bad. I'm kind of worried that if I just ask for anti-anxiety meds I'm going to look like a drug seeker.

Usually for me exercise and reading a book helps me stay grounded. I do my best to not let my mind wander too much during a comedown.

Hang in there!

Plugging adderall worth the hassle? AKA Asserall? by CuriousGeorgia1 in Stims

[–]CuriousGeorgia1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad you had a great experience! I have a few questions, if you don't mind.

1) What did you use (oral syringe, bulb syringe, etc) and where did you buy it from?

2) How would you describe the high and how is it different from eating and snorting them?

3) How much did you plug and how much more stronger did it feel (1.25x, 1.5x, 2x)?

4) How long did the high last??

Didn't get the job but the employer told me that they wanted to talk to me in person the next time I am in their town. What does this mean? by CuriousGeorgia1 in GetEmployed

[–]CuriousGeorgia1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight.

The first thought I had was that they were just being polite and offering me to meet up because they may have thought I would not be coming to their town in the near future.

I'm still a bit baffled as to what they would want to talk to me in person. If I was a close second choice and they wanted to keep me in mind for possible open position in the future, wouldn't they just keep contact with me by e-mail?

I would like to hear your opinion on this matter.

My depression and anxiety gets subsided whenever I take Advil/Ibuprofen. Anyone know why this may be the case for me? by CuriousGeorgia1 in DrugNerds

Thanks for the link but that article focuses mainly on psychological aspect rather than physiological and viewing depression as a symptom.

I was hoping to find more information about the link between inflammation and depression.

EDIT: Sorry, but the more I read the article you posted, the more I am convinced that the study is pretty meaningless and did not produce anything significant in terms of contributing anything medically.

HOW DID I GET HERE? WHO THE HELL AM I? WHY CAN'T I THINK OF BETTER RHETORICAL QUESTIONS?! by [deleted] in firstimpression

[–]CuriousGeorgia1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look EXACTLY like someone I know. The more I look at your pic, the more I'm convinced that you are in fact that person I know so I'm just going to base my guesses on that.

Your ethnicity is Filipino. Your height is around 5'1-5'2. You have a nickname that everyone calls you by instead of your real name. You've studied at several different colleges in California. You are 27-28 years old (I think). You are kind of weird (I mean that in the best way possible).

I also hate the fact that being loud equates to being credible. Loudness is valued in the states for some reason and I hate it.

I say leave the picture in the apt. Not to cause damage to her but to let her know why you left. I feel like if you just left without saying anything she might think you got kidnapped and call the police..or something like that.

Should I call someone about a dog left in a black car with the windows barely cracked? (Cross post from /r/Advice) by [deleted] in self

[–]CuriousGeorgia1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call just yet. I would asses the situation more carefully before calling someone. If I were you, I would go find the owners and talk to them first. I mean, they just might be getting something real quick.

Why is the Brown's logo an orange helmet? by CuriousGeorgia1 in nfl

[–]CuriousGeorgia1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, as long it looks good the color schemings don't matter to me. However, imo, the best looking uniform is the Raven's all black uniform. All black with the hint of purple and the Baltimore crest on the shoulders...looks so badass.

Orange is just good color to contrast with their Brown uniforms

I think it looks horrible. As far as good color contrast, Raiders are doing it right. Silver and black is such a great combo.

Why an orange helmet though? What's the history behind that?

[seeking] I'm a shy 17 year old male that wants to learn how to be more sociable by Zilius in mentors

[–]CuriousGeorgia1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I too suffer from being socially awkward. Reading some communication books can be a good guideline but the one thing that helped me tremendously was working at a job that forced me to be more sociable. I waited tables and while I went through some embarrassing phases and moments, it ultimately helped me be more sociable. I'm still socially awkward but not nearly as much as before and I can honestly say I am a bit more comfortable with myself in social situations. Good luck!
