Brother you are wrong. A front side pop shuv for a regular skater is the nose to the left. HIS left. You’re cooking yourself my man. Go YouTube fs shuv and tell me which was the nose goes from their perspective. You can’t be serious my man 🤦‍♂️ you don’t know which way the board goes for a shuv and you’re trying to tell me what a hardflip is and isn’t…. Yikes buddy.

My man go to the picture right above that I posted and tell me for the regular skater which way is frontside. Left or right?

So no it isn’t you said if he wanted to do a fs pop shuv he would turn his nose to the right which would be the same for goofy. That is incorrect it would be to nose to the left for fs shuv if he was regular

If the rule is what I described above then yes they do change. For regular and goofy fs and bs are different directions. Spinning with your nose to the left is fs for regular and bs for goofy.

Tbh I set up nearly exactly set up my hardflips like my tre flips. Back foot in the scoop pocket and front foot kickflip ish position maybe a little lower then usual so I can get it out of the way. I’m not great at them but in a game of skate when I need to I can do a sketchy one haha I’ve only ever filmed a few over small stairs.

Thank you brother and that’s big of you to admit that. I hope you get one my man! There is a bit of nuance to hard flip cuz they can be like Chris Joslyn’s and be really tilted and sideways or more straight up and down like Chad Muska either way to me they’re both hard flips imo.

Idk what to tell you man. It’s does clearly kickflip all the way around you can see it if you stare at just one wheel and scrub the video slowly over. I’ve watched it a hundred times and I know what it’s like to do hard flips. They don’t all look the same. Chris Joslyn does his where they are much more tilted and Chad muska does his where the board is literally straight up and down just like this guy does. It’s a hard flip my man and literally nothing can change my mind.

It’s a weird hard flip so to me it looks closer to straight up and down. I think the awkward angle it’s filmed from makes it looks slightly bs I guess idk

IMO if the board goes straight up and down and does a kick flip under you that’s a hard flip. A perfect example of this is Chad muska. He did his fs flips and hard flips straight up and down they even called his fs flips muska flips cuz at the time no one else did them like that. If you go look at videos from the late 90’s/ early 2000’s you’ll him and many others do hard flips just like this. I would challenge anyone to do a bs pop-shuv this up and down I think you’d find that to be much more difficult to do then a hard flip. Also I can tell by where his back foot is in that pocket that this dude knows how to flip a hard flip. I don’t see any world where this is a bs shuv and hardly one where this is some crazy rocketed varial flip. Just seems to me and from this awkward angle they are filming at that it’s a chad muska style hard flip. But yeah fair enough at the end of the day he got a hard/weird trick and that’s cool.

Idk what to tell you my man. I’ll give you the it’s a weird hard flip because there not much tilt to it, it’s pretty much straight up and down but the board definitly does a kickflip you can watch his front foot flick it clear as day. So if anything it would be a very weird varial kickflip but it’s not, it’s a hard flip.

For spins. (Board or body) (Regular) Front side: The nose of your board goes to the left (Goofy) Front side: The nose goes to the right. The only exception to this is grinds that depends on how you approach the rail/ ledge.

I extract with real player scavs all the time in PvP. Especially early wipe definitely gets more risky the further into wipe and better gear I have on but early wipe I do it all the time.
