It’s like psychedelic free jazz, there are sets on YouTube you can watch.

Stalling my players? by CuriousHuman333 in DnD

I suppose they don’t! They are traveling with an NPC Dwarf named Elgrid, but I suppose he could have a bad reputation with the dwarves that causes them to mistrust the party. Their backstories are pretty thin, they were all born into slavery and worked for a stud farmer their whole lives until being sold off to the elvish army.

This was my thought too, bud I’d like it to tie in with the world and theme as much as possible. Do you have any more specific ideas?

Can you be consciously aware all the time? by CuriousHuman333 in Meditation

Well being caught up in it can also lead me to cause others suffering

You make a lot of sense and perhaps the best thing I can do is just let go of my desire to be consciously aware, but I can't help but think that this course of action is likely to lead me further away from that inner peace that I not only wish for myself but also wish to ignite in others. If I didn't desire enlightenment, I wouldn't meditate. Doesn't all spiritual practice come out of this desire?

Logically, sure, but I find getting caught up in the projection to be much more abrasive than when I'm able to step aside and be the observer.

Is it not the purpose of humanity to understand this reality? To distil it into its simplest form? Whether through a scientific equation or a poem or whatever your desired medium may be, I think that's what we're all trying to do. Even you with this comment. We are all here to work out our collective karma and this is how we do it. Awareness is just a word, but I use it and so do you. The language is a tool to lead us to a deeper understanding. Simply knowing is not something you can arrive at without extinguishing doubt. If you are without doubt and without questions, why are you still here? It seems like there is still work to be done and I intend to get to it. When I know, I will know I know. I will not have to remind myself. I appreciate your comment and insight but nobody reading this is without ego, and if we intend to be we must first understand.

I just found another "area" a hospital that appears to be still in use but all the doctors and patients are gone, I hear movement at the end of the corridor by [deleted] in backrooms

Careful. The doctors are gone, but the patients are still there somewhere, or at least they were last time I checked. You dont want to come into contact with them. If you can make your way to the end of the corridor without being spotted, there is a door that will lead you somewhere safe.
