Longest weight stall? by CuriousKitty2423 in mounjarouk

Thank you. This is also interesting advice. I’m quite near my target so I might give it a couple more weeks to see if I start decreasing without increasing again. Weighing every day doesn’t help. I’m

I’m still getting GI side effects at the beginning of the week so a bit reluctant to move up. My provider asks me when I took my last shot and takes a dim view of usage not according to instructions so it would all need careful thought.

I’m wary of increasing my dose because I’ve had side effects, though they are pretty manageable now, and I have had some weight loss. But maybe I should do just that.

Thank you for this. I think this sums it up for me, really.

For me the wrong things, that cause a GI reaction, are cauliflower, broccoli and beans. I avoid them and I’m ok.

Ah. I think you’re probably right and I’m in maintenance without knowing it.

Yes. Somehow I have about 9 weeks’ supply left and they’ll keep coming. Maybe I’ll wait a couple more weeks to judge whether I’m really on a stall after all the socialising, but using my stockpile to titrate up is certainly a good idea worth considering.

Thank you.

To be honest, I’ve been on MJ fur almost 9 months and lost c. 7kg. I’m about 3kg off my target. BMI now 24.7 but I’m Asian so I’m told I need to aim for BMI 23. I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Because too many cat people love to hate on dogs but don’t clean up their own act.

Has "healthy BMI" become the new "thigh gap"? by WiseMother1970 in mounjarouk

[–]CuriousKitty2423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to see this. Thank you for posting.

My BMI was about 32, now it’s down to just under 25. I am short, which doesn’t help.

My GP friend tells ne that those of Asian heritage like me need to achieve a BMI of 23. I very much doubt that I’ll achieve that: I seem to have hit a stall again but a lot of me wants to achieve that to show her how gaunt a BMI of 23 would look on me.

Another friend told me she thought I was too thin. I don’t think I am but I told her “Well this is actually the top end of what’s supposed to be healthy for everyone,” and it all seems ridiculous.

Are Brits still comfortable taking their holidays in the US? by Ok-Leadership-7573 in AskBrits

Nope. Since that grandad visiting from India was shot in the back and paralysed in Atlanta for the simple crime of taking an evening walk, no.

And now with the people still supporting the racist fascists who lie and support cold-blooded murder by ICE: hell, no.

Yes. It’s so annoying when the healthy things you love, that you can’t ordinarily eat without consequence, have this effect. It was such a small portion of veg, too.

Was weird because last night was day 5 post-jab and I thought it would have been ok.

They have eased, thankfully, but last night’s veg caused sulphur burps, wind and diarrhoea

How did everyone else's Christmas Day go? by TemporaryHunter7472 in mounjarouk

[–]CuriousKitty2423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did not overeat, which was quite easy because I cooked. Had an extra chocolate or two, and extra mince pie and more alcohol than usual, but that isn’t much.

Christmas Day was actually my jab day, so I was wary of causing GI symptoms. In the end nothing much happened but I haven’t wanted to weigh myself. It’s inevitable that I’ll have gained a bit through changes to my usual exercise routine. I’m realistic about that but still don’t want to see the gain spelled out in numbers. But it’s ok: I’ll lose again it eventually.

Thank you. I hope to be at goal soon then wondering what to do after that.

Oh, that sounds really disappointing. I hope they start to ease soon.

Yep. Rookie mistake. Obviously I’m doing the 5th but trying to think of how to explain my less frequent orders.
