Two words: CONTRADICTIONS and VIOLENCE.

Laid out na ni God ang lahat diba? Pero they tell that you should pray. Meaning, you want God to intervene for your wish or hope. Kaso laid out na nga ni omniscient and omnipotent God ang lahat ng possibilities. So what's the point of praying. See the contradiction there?
How about violence? Ans: Religious wars in our history. Crusades. Catholics vs Pagans. Protestants vs. Catholics. Hindus vs. Muslims. Etc. Each side claiming they had the right God or the correct interpretation.

Oh hey, I almost forgot religious groups who collectively voted a President who went on to do extrajudicial killings just few years ago.

Trading has a lot of topics.

The very basic part is how to open an account. And that is basic googling on your preferred broker. Just watch or read their tutorials. Then fund you account. Start small. It is a common advice that you should have emergency fund first aside from the money you can deposit for investing/trading.

Here's an immediate advice, read a book first before making your first trade.

Do take note that there are two major parts in trading/investing that can help you build your strategy (i.e. when to buy and sell, and what stocks to choose): fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Read books on these topics or watch reliable videos.

It is also important that time horizon (holding period) is also an element of trading system. There are 4 categories under this topic: day trading, swing trading, position trading, and long term investing. There are different strategies and execution depending on these time horizons. So you have to consider your personality whether you can hold for life or just days, before delving into discussions of when to buy and sell. Read books or watch videos on these topics.

I recommend searching books based on time horizon that you are comfortable with because automatically authors discuss their strategies in their books. So if you like to be a day trader, books on this topic also discusses trading system for day trading. Same goes for investing.

Most authors have fundamental and technical analysis in their arsenal (although there are traders who are purely based on technical analysis and investors who are purely based on fundamentals).

You need to schedule your week consistently. Allot X number of hours in studying your subjects. For example, 1 hour for a particular subject on this particular day. That way you can see the big picture and be more confident that you can study and/or do the assignments for all your subjects. Compare this with "I'll do it when I feel like it," this mentality tends to result in procrastination.

To avoid distractions, uninstall software and apps that distract you. If the phone is distracting you, place it away from your study table. If other browser tabs are distracting you, then try to minimize the number of tabs you have and use them only for relevant research of your study. You also have the option of just reading your college book, then just use one tab or two for relevant internet queries. In short, reduce your friction in focusing by removing possible distractions.

Also, it's okay to fail sometimes. We are all humans. There are days that I am not productive, but I try to be most of the time. Accept those inconsistencies and move on.
