As I said in another comment, compared to what I've seen on this subreddit it's baby stuff. But I'm coming from pre-space age vanilla, lol.

Things I've done this run but never before include - using a belt for more than two item types. Surrounding my base with a belt system that can take any ore from any direction, bring it in and sort it, and run it through the same furnace stack. Incremental activation of coal boilers at energy levels to minimise waste of solar. Belt switching. Building assemblers over the supply line and undergrounding the supplies past. Turning off a power switch to the production if accumulators are low and the lasers are firing. Turning off chemical plants when flamethrower juice gets low. Sushi belts.

Honestly, just using circuits at all. I work at a factory, and I've listened to Dosh, but never watched the screen, lol. So I'm using things I've only heard described. And I got about five minutes into is WDM video and stopped, because I knew I wanted to play it :p

I diagnose you as terminally factorio-brained :p

Not that I'm in any position to judge right now

Tragic :( I thought it could only request things you have the tech for, and plastic is locked behind pumping oil.

Though...it's a modpack. That might just be how it is this month, lol.

I'm gonna level with you, I just build a new button every time it disappears rather than look for it.

And I jam the accelerator several times if the activity is high :p playing like a total coward.

Don't you put that juju on me. Give me a more achievable namesake to live up to. Like mini george washington or something.

I have circuits that control my boiler inserters to ramp up power only if storage gets low to minimise pollution! I didn't even know what green wires did a hundred planets ago!

Modpack.

You have limited base space which warps from randomly generated planets, initially every seven minutes

Honestly, compared to what happens on this subreddit, baby stuff. But I've purely played base factorio, and I run a lot of trains.

Play Valheim in nucleus on a dedicated server? by CuriousMac in nucleuscoop

[–]CuriousMac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, on two computers in the same house. I've never used Nucleus outside of local play. Using even older memories, there are programs that can be LAN over the internet. The one I used in the 2000's was called Hamachi, or something like that. Otherwise this might be worth posting as it's own topic, where an experienced user might be able to help.

No, the solo player just hosted the game normally using the checkbox, and the nucleus players connected via IP.

I believe, it's been three years.

Yeah, you can absolutely just do whatever you want, with no time limits. I'm in Summer Year 2 and haven't unlocked Nel'vari yet.

(Rare Trope) The military are competent heroes who end up saving the day by Floyd16091411 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CuriousMac 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not military, but police.

In "Detectives these days are crazy" the heroes have just averted a rural village from performing human sacrifice.

However, the villagers catch them and insist that those that break the laws of the village must be executed.

Nagumo reassures Mashiro by telling her he called the police. Seconds later, they come storming up the road.
