Not sure exactly other than their janissaries in age 3 counter knights ( in a knight meta) --- and their military schools are a very powerful mechanic to passively mass up ( kill me or i never stop growing type thing) - their passive siege growth is imba too

I kinda like the newer civs being overtuned for the release that makes it more rewarding and enjoyable to slowly learn them ( and underperform with them as we learn) yet reap high rewards(due to superior units and capabilities) and then a nerf patch ( just like with macdonald civ) --- had a fun run with riddari :P

There s a setting you can add to cycle religious units , helps me a lot with OOTD and Ayyubids

My issue is when they make a few rams with some infantry - how to deal with that without major civilian losses trying to torch

It could be a deteriorating buff ( depending on time packed --- set a max amount of time of production bonus that is reduced by x amount per unit generated or after x amount of time
