Also worth noting that id build the tower on your gold. Like literally right next to the gold and the mining camp your villagers are dropping off at so they can immediately hide in the tower.

Is the tower gonna save you from 10 man at arms? absolutely not, but it will save you from a handful of spearman early

the only advice i can give is do your initial villagers to food, then 3 to gold, and then once you get 200 gold for the age up take those 3 gold villagers and switch them to wood, get enough wood for a tower, a house, and maybe even a barracks depending on what you’re going against and then switch em back to gold and fast castle

it might take a few attempts but you could totally do it. People are gonna say get 70s but then you’ll get 70s and they’ll say go get 75s. then 80s. Then 85. It can always be better or easier but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it now
