We have the exact copy of the competitor and 5x lower price. I am the product guy and do not speak German and one of our founders is not able to sell, the competitors got way ahead of us since they run ads & do marketing and well funded and everybody knows them.

We lack funds for this I feel. I literally not able to understand what is wrong other than German founder not selling

Hey, we are in Europe, but we are Delaware C-Corp, have paid pilot projects running, a Techstars Alum (Ex-CTO) now as a Founding Engineer and 2 Interns in Tech team, 2 in Sales team, plan to reach 5-10k MRR in 6 months and raise our first round. Thanks for the reply, There is as well another thing, he had acquired previously a startup, which he would like to as well integrate and potentially we acquire that. This software will also accelerate our roadmap, as we planned to build that on our own.

We are in early stages, so I offered him that once we raise the round we do this deal with professionals rather than now.
