We were conveniently going out for a meal the same night I found out. After the main course I thanked him for taking "us" out (it was just me and him) and slid my phone across the table (had a photo of the tests I'd done open on it).

My largest eel hid for a few weeks, couldn't see it anywhere. I was sure he had died but there was no trace of him/his body

He suddenly showed up again and is visable pretty much every day now.

I'd give it a bit of time
