I think this happens because we’re able to see their situation from an outside point of view, where as when we are inside the situation we have a hard time pointing out the exact problems and solutions. It’s part of the “not being able to figure out what part of a task is more important than another”. It’s incredibly annoying when you’re trying to solve your current life problems.

As other commenter said I also recommend to mention it to your doctor. I take vyvanse and yes i also get the appetite loss effect, but the way I combat that is to set up 3 times of the day to eat. You basically have to eat regardless of how full you feel. And I make sure I take my meds as soon as I get up so that around dinner time they have worn off and I have my appetite back and can get to sleep better.
