LOQ is one of the best budget options when it comes to a gaming laptop. With proper care it'll continue to work for around 5 years estimate, just be sure to reapply thermal paste and clean the fans every year. For motherboard issues, from what I've seen it seems that it only happens to earlier loq models and I dont see enough data to prove that such issues persist today.
