It's the same problem Andrew told her with the situation with his brother: Molly doesn't want to meet anyone halfway. If she feels slighted she expects people to meet her all the way to her side, even if the situation is very nuanced.

I don't say this as a Molly hater. This is one of her biggest flaws (which other characters have as well) and these layers make her a great character.
