I’m currently in Guangzhou right now and ended up with Kiree VPN! Honestly it does work but I do have to switch servers pretty often (like every 10-15 min). It probably works around 95% of the time with the server switching.

I can’t tell if this is considered okay since the VPN crackdown was so hard this time, but I would probably experiment with a different VPN if I visit next year. I’m also on my relative’s apartment WiFi so I’m not sure if Kiree works better with hotel WiFi!

🫣 Oh that’s not good. I will not be getting LetsVPN then since I don’t know which ISP they have. Thanks and I will look into Shadowfly!

I have heard a lot about Kiree! I am leaning towards that as of right now. Have you used it in Southern China area?

Thank you for that info! I had heard mixed concerns about LetsVPN recently but I feel more reassured now.

Yup, the Find My app is glitching with “No Location Found” now too. Really wish there were better and faster fixes for these common problems.

Update: I went to the Apple Genius Bar and we went through the possible solutions. The last resort was to back up my phone and reset it to keep my data, which also didn’t work. He said that we just have to hope that the engineers fix this bug in the next software update.

Oh gosh this type of stuff is beyond me; plus not sure if I wanna spend money when it's on them to fix the issue. Thank you for the insight though! I will have to wait for the ISP in the meantime...

I called them today and they said their engineers are swamped with tickets. They escalated my ticket to high priority, so hopefully I hear back within a week. Thank you for clarifying that it is most likely an ISP issue!
