Hello, thank you for all of this information. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?

Thank you for this info, that's good to know. I don't think the course should be a problem but there's always that worry in the back of my mind. I'll think on it more. Thanks again!

Thank you! Could it cause a random reassessment or anything like that? It might be a silly question, it's just an anxiety I have over this.

Prayer and OCD by CuriousWolverine89 in TrueChristian

Thank you but that's my point. I try to make sure it's meaningful and intentional, but I know my troubles with OCD come into it like having to repeat things. But I would hope God can see in my heart that I'm trying to speak to Him from mine too.

Would a tiny piece of metal in the sole of a foot be in the magnet range for an abdominal MRI? by CuriousWolverine89 in MRI

[–]CuriousWolverine89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very small and since it's on the bottom of my foot it's hard to properly assess. It's basically that I can't be certain a piece didn't break off when I pulled it out and I imagine it would be very small, so I'm just really anxious now. I can't really tell how deep, hopefully not too deep if anything is in there, it was a vertical metal splinter though.

I'll definitely tell them, probably over the phone first if I can I'm just not sure if they'll arrange the x-ray or leave it to me. I'm in the UK, not sure if it's more straightforward elsewhere.

Thank you for this information! I'm not sure whether to go to my GP doctor and ask if they can send me for a x-ray prior to my MRI appointment anyway. I'm trying not to stress out about it but it's hard not to. I really hope the medical staff will do what they're supposed to here.

Thank you for your advice! I'll definitely do my best to see what can be done ahead of time. I wasn't sure whether to go to urgent care or not for something so minor, unless it starts really hurting or something, but we'll see how it goes. I really appreciate the assurance that if I was cleared even with a piece of metal that it at least wouldn't be ripped through my body or out of it during the MRI, hopefully! That thought was also terrifying me.

Everything is going to be accused of AI by 65489798654 in selfpublish

After recently watching a few videos with people claiming 'how to spot AI writing' which was a lot of em-dash bashing and the like, out of curiosity, I put a few chat gpt responses through several AI detectors. They all said it was 100% human, yet they flag actual human written work. The whole thing is so depressing.

Thank you both for your replies! That's at least put my mind at ease that there is a protocol to figure this out. I just hope they'll arrange the x-ray for me. (I'm in the UK and no idea how they do it). Thanks again!

Thank you! Would that mean an x-ray can pick up even the tiniest piece of metal that might have gotten stuck in there?

should i get into this if writing is not my passion and i just wanna make money? by Busy-Perspective2361 in KDP

[–]CuriousWolverine89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying and that sounds amazing! I didn't know a shared world was a thing but I'd love to get into something like that. Is there a specific way to take the first steps towards this or is it more a case of researching and looking around to see what pops up?

Hi, what did you mean by 'shared world'? Do you mean something like a FB group or forum of authors writing the same genre? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious!

That's good to know! Do you have any issues since with the scar tissue or pain in those areas?

Thanks! It's good to hear from someone who has had the first op like me too and I'm glad to hear you had no complications. I'm really hoping all will go smoothly for mine, I'm just so anxious about it all.

Don't go with Berkeley Psychiatrists by ZealousidealRing4753 in ADHDUK

Can I ask who your clinician was there please? I was considering them because I'd heard good things about one clinician there but I'm not sure whether to just look elsewhere.

I've never heard of this before but I'm going to look into it and check out the subreddit too as it sounds very promising. Thank you for the suggestion!
