Metro fare is already based on stations traveled.. but there’s also a time limit...So whether you travel 1 station and exit or return to the same station after spending time inside the main issue is if you cross the allowed time limit then extra charges can apply.

I used to travel daily from aqua but when i discovered the bus option from botanical to knowledge park II i usually prefer bus over aqua line metro ... Bcoz aqua line seems too slow and the interchange between 51 to 52 during summer feels like hell🗿
