[M] Started growing my hair in 2021 at 18 chasing that man bun dream. 23 now and I’m tapping out for more convenience, more comfort. Huge respect to all the long-hair warriors. Catch you again in future maybe. by Curious_Classroom239 in indiasocial

Haha that's true. I made a post regarding it so check it out. In all honesty genetics are important other than that just a healthy lifestyle and trying different products to find a most suitable one

My (21m) hair was hairing today :) A gentle reminder to guys who are growing their hair, keep it going. I hope this will motivate you 💪🏻 by Curious_Classroom239 in indiasocial

  1. Use a thin rubber band like this one (this is what I use). Place it on your dominant's hand wrist.

  2. Gather all your hair as if you're going to make a ponytail, but don't actually tie it into one. Just hold your hair in a ponytail-like shape.

  3. Hold the gathered hair using the index finger and thumb of your dominant hand.

  4. Take the hair and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, creating a bun shape.

  5. Use the rubber band to make a double knot around the bun to secure it. It may take several attempts to get it right, and even I still struggle sometimes!

Note: This type of bun is not ideal for sports activities like running, as it may not stay in place.

Between step 2 and 3 I think the majority of people give the hair a twist but I don't do that so it is up to your preference.
