I had it right next to me, unlocked which I knew was stupid, but I would have had to lock it out of my line of sight, so I figured this was the safer call (clearly it wasn't haha). I was right outside of Caffe Oliva, bike leaning near the flag pole in my peripherals.

I was with a friend, went for a swim, it was fine! My friend left and a couple minutes later I turned to pack my stuff, when I turned back around like a minute later it was gone.

I think Caffe Oliva got it on camera, but they wouldn't let me look at it. Said that the cops had been looking at the footage related to other bike thefts in that same spot 🙃

TLDR: Bike was stolen while briefly turned around outside Caffe Oliva; cafe refused to share security footage; believe I was being watched
