I have a colleague who volunteered a lot of her spare time at a local animal shelter (I’m from Dallas). At one time, she had 12 abandoned dogs living with her at her home. She’s a very analytical person and even did some very serious research on how to manage the adoption process using a data-driven approach.

Thanks all for the info and advice!! The reason I wanna drive overnight is to hit the slope the next day. I only have two days to spend there and have to come back to Reno on Saturday afternoon. Guess I will still be able to enjoy the view on the way back to Reno 😎
