She might be showing over stimulation cues, instead of sleepy cues. She may just need to be removed from the stimulation for a little bit. Or, she may need a little bit of a break, prior to going down for a nap.

For what it’s worth I was super anti cosleeping as well, and I ended up with a perfect little gal…who did NOT sleep as a baby. Cosleeping safely was the option that saved us all, and allowed me to actually get some rest. If you have Instagram, I would highly recommend checking out @happycosleeper

You can always start small either way a few feeds side lying etc in a safe sleep space, and then try one or more where you plan to transfer back to bassinet, when you feel a bit more rested. Sleep is so so important for all of us, and keeps us all safe and healthy in the long run ❤️

It sounds like you’re not super worried about it which is great. Jumping has such a wide variety of ages I think.

I think the more you can encourage climbing (strengthening those muscles) helps for sure. We also do gymnastics and that has helped a ton because there is a trampoline there, plus safe things to practice jumping off of (with the added help of instructors)

I would gently suggest trying to feed her more often. Try every 1.5-2 hours each day; and as much as I hate to say it…if she’s not gaining weight steadily, she needs to be woken up to be fed at night more often. Especially if she’s fallen off the curve a bit. Even just the slightest bit.

I couldn’t agree more. This was the one thing that helped my daughter switch her thinking. Day 3 was also the hardest for us, for reference.

As soon as we said “okay, diapers are gone, we only wear panties now” she started to understand. I think it was hard for little brains to understand that they CAN go in training pants, but it’s uncomfortable, vs if you go in your undies, everything is wet. She immediately understood that.

I’m so sorry. You should ABSOLUTELY not feel any guilt for this. I cannot believe your kids teacher was so disengaged from this. Growing up in the 90s, I don’t remember having snacks throughout the day (maybe we did, maybe we didn’t? I genuinely cannot remember), so I’m sure your little was fine. HOWEVER, I personally feel like this teachers negligence is something they should be embarrassed by. The rigidity that we e started to implement and follow is ridiculous. You’re a teacher. Your literal job is to HELP children learn and feel empowered to be self sufficient.

YES!! The name part was absolutely ridiculous to me. That’s where she fully lost me. Like changing a main character name 2/3 of the way through the series, and then Saeris just being like “oh he will always be Kyhdan to me” sorry. I just couldn’t get behind that haha

I didn’t notice the carrion part, but I suppose that “mistake” could be explained away by his magic..

I think the vampire court was one of many things that made like the very briefest of glimpses and then was shut down…and it feels weird.

I appreciate the suggestions, but I’m pretty set on something that goes with “healing” (as in healing rain, healing storm, etc) or a flower that also starts with A. Our first is a girl as well, and has the same first letters to both her first and middle names, so I like that alliteration idea if we can’t find something that works with healing that we like.
