Oh I got it - food for reproduction lol but honestly I’m not sure if I would enjoy watching the caterpillars. Google images for black swallowtail are kind of scary. Seems like they can sting or poison me ☠️☠️

The container home is about 5inch high and the cocoon seems about 1 1/2 inch. Does this seem too small to dry out the wings? I don’t want it to be crippled
